Here are some songs about the New Year that I enjoy. Also, I promise you that the Semisonic song is not “Closing Time.” It’s “This Will Be My Year,” another great song off “Feeling Strangely Fine,” which I feel deserved more attention than just to be labeled as an album of a one-hit-wonder. Dan Wilson is an incredible songwriter and I love Semisonic.

Neon Trees, whose singer, Tyler Glenn, and guitarist, Chris Allen, hail from Murrieta, will be one of the acts on the show.
