SAN BERNARDINO: Beyond Wonderland moves to San Manuel Amphitheater

RIVERSIDE: Pixels Bar gets acoustic on Sundays

Two established musicians from Riverside are putting together a weekly night of acoustic music in their hometown of Riverside.

Jerry O’Neill, who was the longtime drummer for Voodoo Glow Skulls (and who has been doing some of his own acoustic material lately) and Terry Corso, from Alien Ant Farm, will hold the Bar Brigade acoustic night every Sunday at Pixels Bar in Riverside.

Not since “Gangnam Syle” has a dance craze invaded YouTube as much as the “Harlem Shake” has. (With the viral nature of today, it makes me wonder if the “Macarena” would have had as long of a life as it did, but that’s a discussion that says something about America and its shifting culture and bad wedding music that’s for another day.)

The Barbara and Art Culver Center of the Arts in Riverside is screening “Searching for Sugarman,” the Oscar-nominated documentary about the search for ’70s rocker (and 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival performer) Rodriguez on Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m.
